I suppose a lot of darkroom workers have to double the kitchen
and bathroom as a darkroom. I live in a small studio, the Focomat
sets in the small hallway on top of a built-in dresser next to kitchen
which is diagonally divided between kitchen/darkroom. The archival
washer sets in the bathtub. I've blacked out the two kitchen windows,
one of which opens to set a large fan for ventilation. Drying prints are
done on fly screens set around the house. I live alone since my cat died.
I can set up 3 11x14 trays on the counter plus a 12x16 holding tray.
The kitchen holds the 4x5 and 2 1/4 enlarger, Minox enlarger in hallway.
Six bullet Kodak safelights!! I do black and white printing, but I'm
considering
doing color negative processing and printing.

Staying home reminds me of the sort of photos that used to appear in"American Photography" in the 1920s and 1930s. Contrived by people stuck at
home by snow. These days, with a camera in every cell phone, people have
forgotten what it was like when some technical know how was necessary.
Also, film and paper was damned expensive back then.
