DEAR TIM,
I noticed some mottling in the flat grey areas (sky, wall, sign). Can I
assume those are due to the age of the film?

This is a quick and dirty scan at 1200 dpi *of the print* with almost no
post processing. It thus doesn't quite capture the full range of light
and sharpness of the original, but it's good enough for our purpose here.
Shot with a Baby Speed Graphic and 101mm f/4.5 Ektar in the very late
afternoon. Handheld, so its likely not at sharp as it could have been
(the Ektar is a razor). Still, you can get a sense of what 40+ year old
film can do. Developed in DK-50 1:1 ...
