I have the glass carrier for my D5 and seem to remember having to even
trim the long side of the type 55 negative slightly to get it to fit
into the carrier between the glass. Certainly wouldn't print the
"edges".

I have some type 55 Polaroids I want to print.. but I want them with
the borders.
I own a Omega D2. The 4x5 negative carrier cuts out the borders. My
thinking is to get a class carrier.
