Let's see now. With (most) digital:
- You have limited dynamic range
- You have a limited color gamut
- You have autoexposure that's wrong most of the time
- And now ... no focus whatsoever
You know where this leads, right? In 50 years, we'll send up a
satellite to photograph every nook and cranny of the planet at microsecond
intervals. "Photographers" will spend all their time "taking
pictures" by editing what they want out that. Photography will
become a large distributed version of the US National Reconnaissance
Office ...
