Hi! Just an update on 8x10 Polaroid Impossible color.
I had some trouble putting the positive sheet in the
holder on the first sheet. No image. The second
try I got an image of the Rubix cube at 3 times lifesize.
It's a little overexposed so the color washed out.
8 more to go. It's rated at 650 but my lights were
too close and the material is quite contrasty and
couldn't hold the range.

you to load the positive into the holder. The 81-06 is different and
requires the loading tray for the 8x10 processor. Polaroid probably
replaced the 81-05 holders because of the difficulties. Like, in an
old instruction sheet for the 81-05, they say it is tricky twice. I'll
try again.
Meanwhile, the HP-5 neg looks printable.

Bob,
I couldn't find any reciprocity compensation for this new Polaroid
film.
The original Polacolor of years past (which I never used), apparently had
the capacity to compansate for the color shift to photofloods with long
exposures for the daylight balanced film.
I'm e-mailing the Impossible Project about this.
