It's an holding washer before going to a vertical print washer.
There is an accessory rack you can put in it to wash 4x5 or 5x7 sheet
films,
it's very usefull for that

There is something I've never seen before there, the features say,
"Ideal
for holding fixed prints up to 16 x 20, before proceeding to a

bath or print washer."
Yet it is called print washer and costs $250 so I am mystified:
