ASCII characters in hex from some odd editor or language page. "=20" is ASCII 32, a blank. It looks like =20 is being added at the end of a line break or just before it. The =E9 below are ASCII 223 which in my page show up as a black square and may show up as something else in other language pages. =E9 is ▀ and should show up as a graphic or maybe a character with an accent, dieresis, umlaut or something like that.
