Manu, I have not been following it to the letter, but have been using it
since the early 90's when Ilford tech/sales people showed it to me on a
visit to Taos. My negs from that period and current look good. 

I tested the residual hypo in the film and found it worked. Some Kodak
films, Tmax with heavy purplish color, cleared better with the let sit idea
as well.
