Do any of you have experience with the Gossen Polysix light meter?
I was looking online for information about calibrating Soligor digital spot
meters (which have three adjustment resistors) when I ran across the Gossen.
It was intriguing because it used a CdS sensor and AA batteries, and is
supposed to be reliable even when the battery voltage begins to drop. The meter
essentially compares the voltage through a fixed resistor with that through the
CdS cell as a grey wedge coupled to the readout dial is moved in front of the
cell.
