36 inches. You need a 36 inch long piece of pipe.

Right around nowhere. I developed a 616 roll with a length of PVC pipe a few years ago. I think it was 2 inch id. Cut a piece just long enough for the film. I think it's a little longer than 120. Cap and glue one end. Install 4 elbows in series into a reducer on the other end, and drill a small vent hole you can cover with a finger. put the film in emulsion to the center, add the developer through the elbows with the vent hole uncovered and cap the elbow. Cover the vent hole with your finger and agitate by tilting back and forth like a teeter totter constantly. Make sure the film side of the pipe is facing down. It actually worked fine.

I have a roll that I have been wanting to develop that I found in a camera that was given to me. I have not done anything with it to date as I do not have a reel to develop it on...

Does anyone know where I could acquire a reel to accomidate 616 film?

Thanks!
Speedy
