I spent many a day as a wee lad at Student Science Services over in Burbank (how often I used to bother my parents to drive me there). Still unsavy about opening accounts at commercial lab supply houses (warped minds learn fast) and without the demand for quantity it was the breeding grounds for all SoCal "kid mad scientists". He was always helpfull, even on the phone to give advice when little boys misjudge their reactions. Given the trends in America I can't imagine much any replacement. > -- -- Edward C.
