There are two programming languages that are trying to be the modern C/C++
replacement for systems programming. Those are go-lang and Rust.
Rust got the attention of most of c/c++ programmers because rust tries to
avoid the mistakes that those languages have. Moreover Rust was adopted by
Mozilla and they have even rewritten some of Firefox's components in Rust
which was previously written in c++
