Hi Jamie and all

I bought my ptr2 just a few months ago. How will I know whether it has the
newest firmware installed?

Andre

Brian and Arno,

The USB method is probably simpler because you don't need to burn a CD and
you don't have a wasted CD after the update.

As far as I remember, you just download the USB file and then, once you've
connected the PTR1/PTR2 to your computer, you just run the file and follow
the prompts. It is certainly pretty simple anyway.

Hope this helps.

Jamie

P.S. Merry Christmas to everyone

Hi Brian,
the image file is an .iso file. Burn it on CD, put the CD into the PTR1,
start it and listen. When the update is ready the PTR1 will shut down itself
and start itself again. That's it.
The USB file is the same, but I never updated the PTR1 via USB, so I can't
tell you how it works.

Yours sincerely

Arno
