center of RNIB to check with the PTX1 model.

Hi,
That is what the manual says, but the option isn't on this unit. I suspect
it may be running a custom version of the firmware which has that option
removed. The player is actually just the standard PTX1 player, without the
full number keypad, just a set of arrow keys on the front of the unit.

In the PTX1 menu, system settings, there must be an option to restore
factory default settings.

Hi,
Is there a way to reset the PTX1 from the RNIB to defaults, wiping the
internal memory and bookmark lists? The firmware doesn't have the reset
option in the menus, which is listed in the user guide on the Plextor site.
