Mike,

There is no option to switch from one mode to another with the PTR1.
However, Book Creator mode in the PTR2 equates to the way that the PTR1
operates giving you access to phrase editing etc. Normal mode in the
PTR2 limits the functionality of the unit.

The introduction of the two modes of operation in the PTR2 was an
attempt to make the functionality in Normal mode less complex for people
who didn't want to get heavily involved in the nitty gritty details.

I hope this helps,

Cheers,

Jamie

Hi,

Are all these facilities available on PTR1? I don't recollect 'Book
creator
mode'.

Cheers,

Mike
