1. You are correct that you can use your CF card in the PTR2 and then use the CF card attached to your PC to transfer the project. The project will be able to be opened by the PRS software.
2. As far as I know, there are no marks placed in the audio files. This is a pure Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL) application.
