  Subject: Different disks.

I have a p t r 1 and have been very pleased with it but now, a problem.
This problem has to do with the different types of recordable c d
blanks. When I insert a strictly music disk the p t r says digital
recordable music disk or words to that affect. When I insert a data c d it
says, damaged or improper disk. Yes, I have tried several blanks and, always
the same message. At one time the machine would record at what ever bit rate
I wanted on a data disk just fine. Is their anything I can try or where does
the recorder need to go for repair.

     Thanks, Phil Parr.
