Stephen, John,

just tested the new statically linked binary fldigi-3.03.1 for the eeePC on the
PC701.

The binary works, but it crashed the Xserver when I entered the CALLSIGN
and used a backspace. After this I tested more widgets in the config dialog,
and most text input fields showed the same behavior, sometimes
inputting only a few random characters crashed the machine.

I then edited the .fldigi/fldigi_defs.xml file with my callsign and rebooted.
Now fldigi-3.03.1 also accepts input into the config dialog.... I don't know
why :)
(I am sure Stelios will have a clue what happened :)
Text input into the TX window is ok now.

Here is a picture of pskmail-1.0.1 and fldigi-3.03.1 in action on the PC701
(with an external monitor so it can use 1024x768 in this case).

73,

Rein PA0R
