Hello! I am process of setting up a VHF pskmail server in the Atlanta, GA
area. I found this mailing list yesterday, and I have already learned a
good bit from reading through the archives. However, I have a few questions
that I have not been able to resolve, and wondered if someone could give me
a suggestion as to where to start to understand and resolve a few things.

First of all the server is running, and we have been able to send email from
the client to the internet via the server. However, after a successful
connection and email exchange it starts cycling through the modes as if it
isn't getting the ACKs that it expects to see back. Sometimes this last for
two or more minutes. Sometimes it stays on PSK250R or moves to PSK500R, and
sometimes it drops to one of the slow modes.

Here is my environment:

Server

Lastest stable release of Ubuntu

FLDIGI 3.21.13

pskmail_server-1.5.0

ICOM-2820H with Signalink USB

Client

Windows 7

Fldigi 3.21.38

jpskmail 1.5.5

Yaeus FT-8800 with Signalink USB

On both the client and server I have Misc/Pskmail set to 1000Hz Carrier
frequency, 10Hz Search Range, 9dB Acq S/N, 10Hz AFC range, and Reset to
Carrier and Report ARQ are both checked. Should TxID, RxID, or AFC be
enabled in fldigi?

Both Signalinks are set up with Tx about 8 o'clock and Rx at 12 o'clock.

Following is output from the pskmail server while it is doing this. At this
point it attempted to send an email and failed with a "wrong password"
message and then successful sent that message with no changes to anything.

At this point the client and server are both in listening mode.
