Java Pskmail V3.0.8 for Linux/Windows/Chromium
Hello Dear OMs,
After many years of testing and development, here is the first public
release of Radio Message (RadioMsg in short) Version 2.0.
In a nutshell, RadioMsg for Android is targeted at situational awareness
for a group (vehicles or pedestrians for example) as well as short
bidirectional message exchanges with email or cellular recipients over a
radio link. Messages can contain free text or canned messages, images, GPS
locations or mixes of.
These exchanges are made in an unconnected way (no session to establish
like in a Pskmail server session), and use a range of modes copied from the
Fldigi development to cater for different operating conditions.
The Android RadioMsg can be configured as a client, a relay (i.e. server)
or both. It permits single hop relaying over radio.
Also included is the update Version 3.0.8 of the Java Pskmail
client/server/iGate/Radio Message app for Linux (inc. Raspberry Pi OS) /
Windows / Chromium.
These two apps, together with the Android AndPskmail app form a set of
compatible "clients" and "servers" applications focussed on ad-hoc
deployments rather than infrastructure based.
All apps are released under the GLP license.
