As far as I am aware, this project is still in development stages, so only
available if you have the linking software (I am not aware of any plans to take
this forward to commercial release at this stage)
The best way to get the latest information is to subscribe to the Aon forums -
under software development, there is a thread for the DS version.In terms of
considering donations, currently everybody working on Aon does so on a
voluntary basis - funds from charity go towards necessary consumables,
expenses, etc. I do not know if it would be possible to consider funding for
time - I imagine this will come with legal considerations, and certainly would
be talking significant amounts, but would have the benefit of the potential for
full-time programmers. The problem is that there are software licenses with
professional companies, so all Aon software is produced on a license-free
community basis at present (other than the core Aon licenses of course.) All
developers are doing it more for the fun of the development than any other
reason :)
If you don't mind doing the action chart work yourself (all you need is a
notepad) and you have a reasonably advanced phone or similar, it would not take
much work to convert the text to be readable there, or even to simply download
the HTML pages (they are available in ZIP files.) - this would not work
directly on a DS though of course.
