I'm currently enjoying playing through the Kai books -- thanks for all your 
hard work!

I've spotted another bug in "Fire on the Water" to add to your list of errata (although 
I'm not sure how best to fix it). You lose the Seal on page 194; if you then go through the 
sequence 86 215 4 342 56 127 143 289 (talk to the barman rather than confronting the fishermen), 
you get to "she notices the Seal on your finger" on 289 without having actually retrieved 
it.

Glad you're enjoying reading through these books. And thanks for the bug report--they are always useful to us.
Regarding the problem in Section 289, there's no easy way to fix without extensive rewriting, which is something we avoid doing. After some discussion, we've decided to add the following footnote to Section 289:
"To preserve continuity, if you no longer possess the Seal of Hammerdal, you leave the shop immediately. Turn to Section 186."
While not perfect, this is probably the best compromise to preserve continuity and playability. It will be in the online edition the next time we re-release Book 2. If you don't want to wait that long, it is already present in our pre-release version here: <http://www.projectaon.org/test/en/xhtml/lw/02fotw/title.htm>
