for both of you, the answer is to go get the
SAPI 4 and/or 5 SDK's from Microsoft, that will give you all you should need
including short tutorials on how to utilize the various aspects of

SAPI in your programs.

once installed, the tutorials will be found on your c drive in the

SAPI folder

take care,

that reminds me, how do I do it in autoit. I want to use eloquence in my apps
but my main languagte is autoit. So is there some way I can do this? I know
that windows xp computers don't come with sapi4, I'll just have to put that in
the package with everything else once I'm finished. Anyways, I know how to use
com objects, but is there a way to do that with autoit and sapi4? If so, could
someone just send me an example or something, even if it's in vb coding (I can
understand that ok,) of how to do it?

  Thanks
