Dear programmers,
I am totally blind 53 years old guy from the island of Malta. In the past
especially during the dos era I was used to programming using the GW-Basic.
Now recently I decided to just start over again in programming just for
pleasure of programming. I have the following difficulties, which I highly
appreciate if you help me to just getting me started in the right direction.
My primary goal is to create functional utilities. So here are my questions.
1. Which are those most user friendly programming languages for us the
blind to choose from Currently I'm using Jaws as a screen reader.
From where I can get user guides written from the blind perspective for that
particular recommended programming language in electronic format.
And from where I can download the necessary programming tools for that
particular language to getting started?
Are there any mailing list specific for that particular language where also
blind users participates?
Lastly, is there someone out there who is willing to tutor me by email?
Your feedback is highly appreciated.
Kind regards,
