get EdSharp to compile vb?

Hi all,
I am going to try my hand at vb eventually, and tried compiling a
vb file with EdSharp. It says that "vbc is not recognized..."
You know the rest. Where can I get the vb cmd line compiler so
EdSharp will compile my vb code? I already installed the .net
sdk, which msdn.microsoft.com told me would give me this
compiler, but still no luck.
