This works unless you have file associations, in which case you will need to go edit them manually. why not just remove edsharp.exe, then rename edsharp64.exe to edsharp.exe?

Hi, Maybe this is too simple an answer, but you could change the target of the shortcut. EdSharp puts a shortcut to itself on the desktop. Find it. Press Alt+Enter. Press the button that has to do with the target. Browse to it. Select it. and it should work after that. Thanks. Jim Jim Homme, Usability Services, Phone: 412-544-1810. Skype: jim.homme. Still, I mostly use jaws, so I will stick with the 64-bit version for now. How can I make edSharp use this by default when launching or opening files? So this is not a problem for anyone else then? If it matters, this is jaws12, on a 64-bit system. That's what the stack trace says, anyway; without digging through the edsharp code I can't say much more on it. have you tried reinstalling? uninstall edsharp, wipe out that folder and reinstall. Obviously, this is not good for a text editor. I had noticed it for some time, but I had only been using it for python scripts and pdf files. I never read all in a script, so I thought maybe it was something to do with the pdfs, but it is not. Here is the trace: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
