Visual Web Developer Problem

Hi.
doing a web ap example in the book how to add databases, etc.
so did a drop down list box and a details view control.
and used the data wizards to bind data.
and it is supposed to show me a list of titles and authors of books.
and using a access databases, off the book cd.
but when i run the application.
instead of showing me the name of the combo box, Rnib Books.
it shows me some thing like system.row number
so am i doing some thing wrong, or the controls being too close together or
got confused?
and using the same database and setting the id to AccessDatabase1 and
AccessDatabase2
and suing the sql query builder to use the isgn collumn as the primary key,
and the title and author, concatonated together.
can any one help?
or explain why i am experiencing this.
well, deleted it again, and will start the example again.
maybe some thing i am missing, as it is mouse based and a lot of diagrams in
pictures in a word document.
