I just Checked The ability of my old VWD Projects to bring up the Menu>Data pulldown with the Create New DataSource and oy! it wasn't there. Googling I found docs saying i should be able to do it and it should be there but it's not. Any idea of how to start the DataSource Wizard, perhaps I'm getting so confused I'm not even asking the right question. Break-time or I'll be blabbering absolute nonsense. Kind of getting tired of automatic things happening without notification or easy documentation from Microsoft. I'm 59 and if this continues i'll be dead before I get anything working correctly and consistently in the Visual Stupio Environment. If I remember I could just click this, the Wizard would ask for a DataBase and allow me to select objects to include in the DataSource. I think it then built a typed DataSet with the selected items. I just created a test VWD Project, copied a MyDb.mdf into it and have not been able to get the blasted menu>Data Create DataSource to appear. I can add a DataSet manually but have to add one table and TableAdapter at a time instead of just selecting the several I would want and then adding TableAdapters as I choose later. Any ideas of why I can't find any way to start the DataSource Wizard? It still works in a couple of other projects but I do not remember doing much diferent. Rick USA
