Hi, I think I'll use the best program, EdSharp. Thanks. Jim Jim Homme, Usability Services, Phone: 412-544-1810. Skype: jim.homme Internal recipients, Read my accessibility blog. I put it on my Eclipse once to check it out and had trouble making sure it didn't try to debug c++ code as python code. I'm sure I was doing something wrong but they have it so that the pyDev menu shows up across all perspectives instead of localizing itself to a Python perspective. About the only thing it seems to coexist amicably with is Aptana Studio Plugin. I'm sure there's a way to configure the IDE so that this doesn't happen but I wasn't able to figure it out. I've toyed a bit with Python using an app called Movable Py. If you want to check it out, I can e-mail you the self-extracter. Got it on a flash disk somewhere. Basically, it's an ide that runs from a USB flash drive using python 2.5. Supposed to be cross platform as well as portable but I've only used it on windows. It's semi accessible to write in. I used EdSharp to write the few .py files I wrote and then used MovPy to run the scripts in an ide environment. I found it easier to use than Idle. Haven't had much time to play with it though. Between work, school, parenting, husbanding and learning c++, my time's rather limited these days. Let mme know if you want to check it out and I'll send it your way.
