All you have to do is add one line in your default.jss ... Make sure you open the default.jss, not the local default.jss, so open up script manager, jawskey+0, then close that file, then hit control+shift+d to open up the default. Then find the following line, by using control+f: || TheClass == cwcTelnetW Then hit end on that line, hit enter, and paste the following line in || TheClass == "putty" And hit control+s when you're done. Close out script manager. Take care, Sina ________________________________ From: programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Nick.Adamson@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, November 11, 2009 11:56 AM To: program-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx; programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Putty access for SSHing Hi All. I'm trying to use putty to SSH in to one of our Linux servers. I was hopping it would work out of the box with my screen reader but it looks like it doesn't. Are there any users of putty that can suggest which settings I should play with to get it to speak correctly. I'm using hal but I hope that any settings changed in Putty needed for other screen readers should work for hal. If putty is a no go area are there any better command line based ssh clients? Thanks.
