Looking 4 Web dev books/tuts

Hello, just wondering if anyone has or knows of any good in depth books
and/or advanced tutorials for the following web dev topics:
HTML/XHTML DOM, HTML/XHTML DOM and Javascript, AJAX, and possibly CSS2?
I use to have access to these while in school, but now I'm not attending due
to tuition costs, and for that same reason BSVI won't help me obtain any
materials... Most of the tuts online are either basic or not detailed
enough. I think if not a good book, a full reference of functions/methods
and properties and things of that nature would help. The w3schools
refferences are too vague...
