If one does that does the setting stick? That is, will it need to be set with each boot of the computer?

Thanks.

Hi friends,
May be some folks out here aware of this secret trick of how to increase the response time of jaws (or any other app, for that matter), but those who are
not, might find it useful.
Open task manager (alt+ctrl+del), switch to Processes tab, choose jfw.exe
(for jaws), press application key, then choose Set Priority > Real Time and
press enter. Click Yes to confirm.
But note if you have jaws start automatically feature is turned on, you need to exit and restart jaws as taskmgr doesn't allow you to change the priority
of a process running under different user account.

I have been using this trick for a while and must say it increases jaws
performance especially when working with WPF designer (otherwise so slow!)
