Not a fobia, I was just introduced to that first and that's what I used; the
scripts work well enough. I know that there are plenty of blind audio editors
that use goldwave for their every day work, well, goldwave and soundforge.

Interesting I would normally agree with you excepting that I know the guy who
wrote this and it was not made "for the blind" It actually has graphical
representations of the sound wave but yes it was made to be accessible for the
blind which is something that Gold wave just attempts with scripts that are
pretty poor as I have seen it.

Anyway I just wanted to find out why people like yourself pick Gold wave for
small tasks like this so you're telling me it's something like a phobia.

I prefer gold wave over some program that is "made for the blind." I try to
use the main public versions of programs, like I use mush over VIP. It has a
larger community for a support base, and it works a lot better than VIP mud
does. It's also free. Goldwave costs, but I just close it and open it when it's
up to it's limit on actions I can perform

I want to ask why someone would use Gold wave over let's say Sound recorder
by APH?

For example, if the song is on G, and I wanted to change it to F, how
do I change it?
