Don't know since it will not let me as such download it directly since I live
in South Africa, so chances are only the ones they want you to be able to read,
based on geographical location or not.

It does let you access your online kindle purchase library - the one book I had
in there I just told it to synchronise locally, and it worked.

Heard from someone else that you couldn't even download it directly from
Canada, but anyway...

Are all books accessible or just the ones that are accessible on the kindle.

While you can't download the accessible version of kindle reading software
from all geographical areas, I have gotten hold of it, and while have only ever
bought one specific kindle book, the accessible reader is quite nice, since it
does run quite happily with my registration details from amazon, and all you
really need to do is use space bar to activate menus, and use Ctrl + I
keystroke for being told navigation commands, and it uses relatively decent
nuance synthesizers - both a male and a femal voice.

    Hi,

I hope this link works. If not, tell me.

This article says that you can now get free, accessible Kindle software and
read Kindle content from Amazon on your computer. If that's true, all of a
sudden, a lot of hard-to-get books are mine. I'd be glad to pay print book
prices to get books that can't be gotten elsewhere.
