E: rotecting html input box?

Not for the braillenote family; the company, Humanware, releases updates every year or so, but the newest one has been delayed. Besides, they never change anything in the browser; I am still using js1.3 and cannot handle things like span or div updating, onChange or most other event handlers, and more that I will not go into on the list.

Have a great day,
Alex

Might there be an update available for your browser? If so, you
may be
trying to work around an already squashed bug.

Okay, I tried it. I also found an example online, and it looks
like
this is the fault of the browser on my braille notetaker; it
seems to
not honor the reaonly attribute. Thanks for the help, though.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Try:

Readonly="readonly"

Cheers, Lynn

Subject: rotecting html input box?

Hi all,
In a basic html form, how do I protect an input of type "text? I
have
tried <input type="input" readonly name=..." but with no luck,
and I
have moved the "readonly" keyword around and even tried
"readonly="true"" but all with no luck. I am using a
Braillenote. Am I
doing it wrong, or am I getting it right but my notetaker is not
interpreting the readonly keyword?

Have a great day,
Alex
