Hi,
In EdSharp, Control+K creates a bookmark. When you press that key, it creates
one. When you re-open the file, it goes to the bookmark. If you have more than
one bookmark in a file and you open it, EdSharp presents the list of bookmarks.
You can then pick one to go to. When you are in a file, you can press Alt+ K to
get the list of bookmarks. If you have one bookmark, focus will jump to it. You
can clear the current bookmark with Control+Shift+K.

When you create a bookmark, it also puts a file in your favorites list. You can
access the favorites list with Alt + L. You can put a document in the favorites
list with Control+L. You can clear the current document from the favorites list
with Control+Shift+L.

The favorites list is compiler-specific. This means that when you switch to,
for example, the Visual Basic.net compiler, you can have a different favorites
list than for the default compiler. You also have a different recent files list.

You can use Alt+R to get a list of recent files to open. EdSharp remembers your
30 most recent files.

Subject: Does EdSharp remember last place in a file?

  Hi listers,

I just find EdSharp good in working with text files and source files for
most programming languages. But I now want to use it to read other stuff
which I might resume after some time. So does Edsharp have a setting
whereby one can have it remember the last place one was in prior to
closing it? For instance, after reading a book with sixty chapters, and
am tired on chapter 12, is there a way I can simply open the file and
automatically land on the spot I left off before my break?

What comes to mind is the way FSEdit does on Pac Mate or even programs
like EmEditor which I often use for this type of work. If there is such
a setting, how do I activate this feature? If not, can't this be added
in the next release of EdSharp?
Thanks Jamal for this great app and the work that went into its
development, Once I get this, I think I will switch full-time to it
being my default text editor.

Thanks,

Ishe
