Hi.
was able to use the database wizard to generate a table, and then add it to
the data grid, and set the jaws window classes to mssa, and that worked.
but the second example of my book, not reading.
i have to use the show data sources, to generate text boxes and labels from
the database.
and using jaws, and when run the application the text boxes do not come up.
so it says to use the tab next to the docked property in soulution explorer,
or use the data menu, select show data, and then the database loads, but the
other components in the component tray do not read in jaws, which is a pain.
and so how do i bind database fields say to text boxes, combo boxes, with
jaws?
really starting to get frustrated, and jaws having a hard time reading,
having to use the component combo box, and sometimes will not read the
entire contents, like the components in the components tray.
so how do i do this?
really starting to annoy me.
i did do this for a project using jaws 6, and was able some how, cannot
remember how i bound the database binding source fields to text boxes and
combo boxes, without the mouse and using the keyboard.
so a bit stuck, and really starting to tear my hair out.
can any one help?
using jaws 10, beta 2 with visual basic dot net 2008 express, on a windows
vista home premium machine.
would it read better if i switched to jaws 9?
cheers Marvin.
