What can I say, thanks. The tutors were not very cooperative and were not
helpful at all. As a result I'm about 4 weeks behind my fellow students. I
was looking at leaving the course and finding legal address but now I can
continue.

you need to install the scripts. After this, it is only a mather of
going to the view menu and select the component list dialog, from
where you can select the wanted control.
After this go to the view menu and select forms, choose the wanted
form and tab untill you hear the wanted component. You can then press
f11 and change several properties of the component. To implement one
of the events, press ctrl tab and choose the one you need and press
ctrl enter.
Now, Cean, please read this carefully. I've been in the llist for
years and I've never sent a fensive or ironic message to anyone. Be
aware that I am not an idiot nor an unresponsible child. I do work as
a developper and I wouldn't say anything which would be ridiculous, as
you're suggesting.Of course I can't think of anything not doable, but
I said c Builder 6 can be used easily, I'll repeat ... easily, if one
uses scripts by Ken Perry to run it. And I don't say it because I
think so, I said it because I did it almost in a day basis some time
ago.
I didn't try c++ builder v 7, but I recall Ken said sometime ago that
delphi or c++ builder in more modern versions weren't accessible. But
the point here is the following: she didn't asked anything about c
builder v 7, she asked about c++ builder v 6. And the scripts run on
c++ builder v 5 and v 6, and the ide is accessible with them ...
Now, if you don't think they are accessible please feel free to
discuss this on list, as it is a good topic... but please don't return
me this kind of argument.
