Hi all,

Couple questions for those of you who have used vim and emacs:

1. When operating an editor over an ssh session, is there much difference in usability between vim and emacs, all other things considered?

In other words, does vim or emacs have better or worse screen tracking, prompts, cursor positioning, etc?

2. For those of you who have gone through the pain of getting emacspeak to work, was it worth it? Does it work over ssh or require local audio for speech?

Thanks for your insights,

Ben
