I actively disliked squiggles even when I could see. Outlining was
something I could take or leave, certainly not something I found very
exciting.

I believe lightbulbs and squiggles and such are to some degree accessible
now as well, so you might want to experiment in turning some of that on to
see if it is of any help to you :)

Hi,

If you have the time, could you please use the Jaws virtualize window
tool
to capture the contents of the Tools|Options dialogs. We could then
compare
and contrast and see what turns up.

Best wishes.

I find these reports very curious because I have never experienced
anything like it and I have been using VS with jaws since vs2010. And I
do
use code completion. I have nearly everything else turned off though
(squiggles, code lens, light bulbs, outlining etc), I suppose some
interaction there could make a difference.

Hello to you both,
I have tested these issues in newest consumer preview of visual studio
2017, and did not encounter them. If your company policy allows for
it, you might want to switch to that version. You can run the Preview
build alongside your existing stable installation. Please report back
if these bugs also persistent that version, I will poke the right

Hi,

Unfortunately, I can confirm this ina c++ project. I don't use Python
and my current work isn't c#-related, so can't test at the moment.

Subject: [program-l] new visual studio woes

Hi friends.  I've updated my vs installation to the latest and what I
hoped to be the greatest in terms of accessibility, ----, well, I
found that It slowed my productivity right down at work today because
whenever Intellisense or code complition is triggered and then
confirmed by the enter key, my IDE remains useless after that, until
I alt+tab out of the app, then alt+tab in again.  It happens
everytime.  I was coding in
c++.  I can't say if it will behave the same in other environments
c++like
c# or Python because I've had no chance to try those out.  Any
immediate solutions?  Thanks and cheers!
