Your title implies that you have a god complex. If you are indeed god, what
does that make me?

Jordy mentioned Raspberry Pi last week, however I've just had the following
notice arrive.
"Raspberry Pi 4 Model B review: This board really can replace your PC
The Raspberry Pi 4 is a true next-generation Pi, with dual-screen 4K support,
USB 3.0, a new CPU and GPU, and up to 4GB RAM."

Hi
I have happily run several Linux distros in a VM and that works pretty well.
VirtualBox is somewhat tricky to configure, but once done, it should work
great. I used VMWare Workstation Player before and that works great too. With
the player version, you only have the ability to run one VM at a time. If you
want to run more and benefit from the accessibility of VMWare Workstation, then
VMWare Workstation Pro works just fine with some rest-visus. For fully-blind
people, it is *NOT* accessible... Then I would recommend to suffer a bit with
VirtualBox.
If you are familiar with the command line, then VirtualBox is *THE* choice! It
can be controlled fully using the CLI.
Once set up, it works just like another machine. You get a full sandbox with
the needed OS, base features, etc.
Even though VMs are great tools, I keep loving an external device. To play
around, I bought myself a Raspberry Pi 3B and that works just fine to play
with. An extra advantage is that it is easy to enable SSH access by default, so
you don't need to run a full setup wizard.
Hope this answer gets you a bit closer to the amazing world of Linux and
UNIX-based operating systems. If you have any questions regarding Linux itself,
please don't hesitate to contact me. This way, we can keep this list related to
its topics.
Kind regards
