Will also just say that one issue - and most likely not relevant here - is that to use python as form of CGI on server requires bit of server configuration changes/installations, which is another reason why haven't really bothered too much with python for web development myself - prefer to stick to working with frameworks/technology that can work in more environments, more easily/quickly - aside from types of issues am currently having myself with possible server config...<smile>

There are a plethora of Python web frameworks, but Django leads the pack. Django approximates the MVC pattern and has a clear separation of the model, view and templates.
