Hi, get in jaws settings and turn on announcing indentation level. If
you play enough with the configurations you can do it vscode specific,
but it is not an issue for the other cases as well.
Regarding the line number, ctrl+g will tell you the line. You can jump
to an exact line from there as well.

Hi folks,

I'm trying to figure out a couple of things in VS Code with .py files.

First, is there a way to tell how much white space there is on each
line, without counting the spaces with JAWS? My professor wants to
know, in particular, if it's a possible plugin that will work with
only .py files so that I'm not dealing with that in Word or other
programs.

Second, JAWS doesn't read line numbers. Is there a way to tell what
line I'm on, without writing comments to count the line numbers? There
might be a plugin or something.

Thanks so much for the help.

Best,
Cricket
