I developed a diferent type of financial platform using Visual Studio and vb.net –steep learning curve for beginners.
Pranav is working on something more like what you are asking about and working in python if I remember.
There are a host of libraries in python you can use.
Good luck, it is good to hear of other blind folks working on accessible financial platforms for personal or public use.

I cannot comment on mql but python is another language where you can write trading robots and python is accessible for sure.
