I generally actually use 7zip for almost all archive file operations, since
it's got a much wider range of file formats it supports, and it's free:

All I can really say, since haven't used that library/repository as such - if
that's what it is, is that generally, to install a module for later use,
something along the lines of the following command will install it under python
itself - run from the extracted directory, where there is then a setup.py file:
python setup.py install

I have Python 2.7.3. I seem to be reading conflicting information about how
to go to Pypi and find and install packages. I'm using Windows. Can anyone
point to straight forward information about this?
