Hi,
For my purposes, I would like to have two things. First, I would like to
control which information the add-on gets for me. For example, for my purposes,
I only want the kind of tag I’m looking at sometimes. Secondly, I would like to
see if it can keep a log file, append to the clipboard, or both, I would like
to read to something, then press a key to add to the log. I want to retrieve
the log later. Is this possible?
Thank you.
Jim

Subject: [program-l] Developer toolkit update
Hi,
Just writing to let you know that Developer toolkit is still in the works.
Great new features will come with the next release, such as the following:
* The ability to turn Developer toolkit on and off, and have the setting
saved across uses/restarts.
* Single key layered shortcuts, making it easier to use.
* Settings that control the information provided through an element’s
summary. An element summary is a short description of the element. The
currently available options include element tag, identifier, number of
children, number of siblings, height and width. If you can think of more
options, reply and let me know.
* The ability to choose an identifier for elements. An identifier is an
html element attribute such as name, id, and class that helps the user identify
the selected element.
* The ability to provide a second or backup identifier. If your first
choice is not available, Developer tools will use the second option.
* The ability to have each piece of information such as the summary, left,
top, right, bottom, corner coordinates, absolute center coordinates, etc
spoken. Pressing the shortcut twice quickly puts it in a virtual buffer.
This is the plan for now. If you have any additions, feel free to let me know.
