Hi Mark.

The button and List view are on a dialog.

Using the Wm_Notify event sent from the list view the item selected in
the List View is compared to check if it's what we're looking for. If it
is then the button is enabled.

Cheers.
Nick.

Interesting. The button is part of another control?

Hi All.

I've got a really weird one for you windows gurus.

I'm developing a windows app. The main screen is a dialog with a load of
controls.

One of the controls is a list view. When a certain item is selected in
the list view a standard push button is enabled.
This is all fine and works how I expected.

The strange part is when you try to click on that button. If you click
on it once with a left mouse click the button gets focus rather than
activating. When you then click on it again the button is activated.

None of the other buttons on the dialog behave like this, they all have
the standard behaviour of being activated when there clicked on.

Any one seen any behaviour like this before and can come up with a
suggestion?
I'm using vc++ 6, no MFC.

Cheers.
Nick.
