Styudy math expressions and Algebraic expressions.

Math word problems are great logic problems. We coders simply write the program
to solve those word problems.
Math word:
Train A left SanDiego @1am with 45 mph.
Train b left New York @12 noon. Traveling 75mph
Where do they meet? Addume straight line.
In advance level use google maps for routes and possible outcomes.
That is what programming is.
Once you understand that then a code editor is a must.
Variables are like algebra. So a code editor is a must.
I am the type that likes to jump in and start punching.
I would step 1).
Download a sample code and/or project. Now just start entering simple things
at first. View the output in the console. (if using vscode) Never played with
Notepad++, but I think they do simple output. Linux supports shell files
written Python, so you can run them as well.
I prefer vscode, because it does many languages and everyone ends up there or
something similar.

Makes sense but how do you study logic trees without using some programming
language to describe them?

I agree with learning code editor is a must.
Although if you have no programming experience (like some macro language
where you coded steps and logic) you may want to study logic trees, since
programming is basically a whole bunch of logic trees.

This is how I teach python in groups so I agree 100% In all my classes the
hard stuff kids to adults have to learn is how to use your computer, copying
files, finding files, using the command line, typing etc. Python is easy
after that. Starting with an editor is always best.

Hi,
Others may disagree with me, because my learning style doesn't like too many
things at once. I would advise just using a plain old text editor, any one
you like, until you learn some basic language, then getting into something
like VSCode, which introduces another layer. Once you get a good feel for the
language, learning all the fancy tricks a good code editor does to help you
will make your programming more efficient. And because you have basic
knowledge of the language already, you will be able to understand what's
going wrong better when things aren't working.

Subject: [program-l] Application for writing python code
Hi
I have recently started learning python and I am using LiClipse for writing
and executing python code. However, liClipse is quite slow. So kindly share
the names of the applications for writing and executing python codes which
are accessible with JAWS.
Thanks and Regards
Rohit
