HI All,

I agree. Android Studio has no accessibility what so ever.

At my company I am one of the lead software engineers for our mobile
development. When I code for android I use eclipse. It works great. And of
course, iOS is Xcode.

I use window-eyes and jaws with eclipse on windows, and voiceover w/ eclipse on
the mac.

Best,

Hi,

You have to set the ide up to create and build a project as I showd.

Android Studio doesn’t work at all with voiceover.

Hi,

Android Studio is not accessible with a screen reader of any description.
There are 2 possibilities that I know of to get around this.
Eclipse has all the tools you need.
Sodbeans has the tools you need and I can send you some files on
getting started if you want to try this route.
If you are familiar with either Eclipse or Netbeans/Sodbeans then I
would advise sticking with the IDE you know best and do Android that way.

one of my project should be done in android. now I'm trying to do it
with a company. the android developer of that company is using
android studio. I heard that it is not accessible. he told me that
eclipse will not be the official IDE, so it is better to get into
android studio.
is the latest version of android studio is accessible?
can I do android development in my win7 machine with jaws 16 in
android studio?
or is there any alternate solution for this?
please give a quick reply.
