[program-java] Running Java Application with the JRE being installed

It seems to me that somewhere in the foggy past I had the opportunity to run an
application that I wrote in Java on a work station that didn't have the Java
Runtime Environment installed.... I think that I copied something into the
application directory but I'm not sure what or even if this did happen.

Any ideas?
